villa

Enjoying the beautiful all year sunshine in Costa Blanca, this holiday bungalow is an ideal base, whatever you look for from a holiday in the sun.

Holiday life in the Costa Blanca revolves around sun, sand, sea and golf!  There is plenty to do, from traditional holiday activities such as sunbathing, boat trips, sports and water sports through to specific activity holidays such as sailing, cycling, walking and of course golf.  The Southern Costa Blanca enjoys 3,098 hours of sunshine annually* which is an average of 8.5 hours per day.

This property is located in the southern Costa Blanca in the South-East of Spain.  The bungalow is situated about 15 minutes walk from the nearest of a choice of beaches.

If you prefer to relax by the pool, there is a private swimming pool shared only with the other properties on the urbanisation which is open during the summer months.

Alternatively you could head inland to explore real Spain.  There are many walking or cycling routes and historic towns such as Orihuela  and Elche nearby.

Torrevieja is an old Spanish town which has a great range of activities for the holidaymaker.  There are numerous bars and restaurants and a long promenade for joggers or those who enjoy a pleasant stroll any time of the day or evening. There is a night market selling gifts and souvenirs.  The summer night life makes the town a popular location for holidays.  The town centre contains many shops including clothes, shoes and holiday gifts and mementoes.

The salt flats at Torrevieja are the largest and oldest in Europe.  The salt lake is a natural park with over 200 species of birds.  The lake shimmers purple in the sunlight and can be seen from the air if you fly into Murcia airport.

Torrevieja is 41 kms away from Alicante to the north, 23 kms from Elche to the Northwest and 53 kms from Murcia in the southeast.  The area is beautifully decorated by orange and lemon groves.  As well as the protected Natural Park with two salt lakes, it has 20 kms of coastline containing six large beaches and about 20 coves with an abundance of cliffs. The choice of beaches range from the large sandy beach in Torrevieja, where you will find sports and activities along to the quieter coves further south.  There is even a nudist beach.

Los Altos is a residential area about 6km outside of the Spanish town of Torrevieja.  The nearest supermarket is 2 mins walk and sells most things you are likely to need.  Via Park 3 is a leisure area approx 10 mins walk, with an English shop and bars and restaurants.  Also, the Emerald Isle is a leisure complex with a pub, a swimming pool, and it runs daily exercise classes and leisure events.  For those who prefer Spanish bars and restaurants these are also approx 10 mins walk and there are Banks and a doctor’s surgery in this area.  There is a regular (hourly) bus service into Torrevieja or you can get a taxi from outside the nearby supermarket in high season.

Golf is available at Villamartin (20 minutes drive), La Manga (45 minutes drive) or Mar Menor (35 minutes drive), Roda (20 minutes drive).
